Navigating Paths, Finding Clarity
Get to know me!
My name is Rejeanne Toussaint, and I am a licensed psychotherapist and professional counselor in Connecticut and Florida. With a background in Criminal Justice and Forensic Psychology, I have been practicing psychotherapy since 2012, offering support to individuals facing various psychiatric challenges such as post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, and substance abuse.
Over the years, I have worked extensively in outpatient community mental health settings, substance abuse treatment centers, and sexual assault crisis centers, providing psychological evaluations and therapy to survivors of trauma and abuse. Since 2018, I have operated a private practice, focusing on psychological assessments and therapy for both adults and adolescents.
My expertise extends to conducting psychological evaluations for individuals in safety-sensitive employment under the Department Of Transportation who have received violations. These assessments determine their readiness to return to safety-sensitive conditions. In addition, I’ve conducted psychological evaluation for those involved with the Department of Children and Families, including serving as an expert witness in court proceedings related to child removal and parental rights terminations. Additionally, I have undergone specialized training to conduct immigration evaluations for extreme hardship waivers, asylum cases, and applications under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).
